The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recently informed Americans to put together an emergency kit for an upcoming zombie apocalypse.

My favorite part:

"Pick a meeting place for your family to regroup in case zombies invade your home…or your town"

Coming? Heck Obama has been entertaining them in the White House for 2.5 years.

Back on topic: There has been much criticism for the CDC's zombie attack preparedness campaign. I think it shows they are thinking outside of the box and applaud their efforts to get Americans to take preparedness more seriously. I hope those who do not have a personal kit and a plan put one together this weekend!

Didn't Obama mandate we buy a $10,000 kit or pay a yearly $5000 fine?

My family practiced this 35+ years ago. Ideally you should have at least one alternative location to which to go and plan ahead with your preparations supplies to use your home for family members or friends who may need same.
