I'll take off my hat to anyone who's been in combat or a war zone, because that's something I can't imagine.

The most unease I've ever felt was East Berlin in the early 70's when the Wall was still up. I knew one miss-step and the guards would gladly shoot my head off. That was pretty nerve-wracking. Once we crossed back into the American sector through Checkpoint Charlie I felt like giving the American soldiers a hug for being there for us. Heroes. Every one of them.
Me too.

Juarez Mexico..perhaps the most violent city in the world. Although I visited a few years before it got really bad.

Just about anywhere here in Las Vegas seems unsafe to me. We always rank near the top of any crime ranking.

Can't say that i've ever been anywhere that flat out scared me, but the Former East German big cities were chaotic as hell at night for the first 5 or 6 years of reunification. I remember being in Chemnitz one night, and there were several groups of skinheads looking for trouble. They must've sensed that i was an American, and they just left me alone. But it got hairy for a minute.

Salt Lake City............never driven through such weird, eerie town in my entire life. Stayed one night there and as weird as this sounds I really felt like there was just no presence of "god" in that place. Just an emptiness to how I felt when I was there. I'm not a bible thumping religious person but it was just a very eerie feeling.
