I don't see a problem with it. I see Canadian flags, UK flags, Irish flags... It's a free country. I don't take offense to foreign flags. Flying one doesn't necessarily imply that the person is crapping on the US.

And the owner of the private property on which the flag was placed, is free to remove it. People are free to be offended by its presence, or by its removal.

My roommate had a large Australian flag taped to his window so all could see (he isn't Australian by any means), so please don't ransack my apartment and harass my neighbors.
