I agree the poll should have included First Ladies that are no longer living. Jackie Kennedy or Eleanor Roosevelt would probably have gotten high marks.
Eleanor Roosevelt, IMHO, would be waaayyyy down at the bottom of the list. She was a disaster!
I'm also shocked that Hillary Clinton would ever receive any accolades. Geez!
My vote goes to Laura Bush as the finest, most elegant with most class of any that have been in that position since I have been on this earth, with Nancy Reagan and Jackie Kennedy following in that order.
Jackie O would get my vote. She was better looking.
Actually her eyes were too far apart; she looked like she had fetal alcohol syndrome. I always found her weird looking and never understood why anyone thought she was beautiful.
If Nancy only spent 25K on china for the White House, I'd say she did a great job bargain hunting and finding the lowest price. Considering how many place settings she had to buy, 25K doesn't sound like much at all for fine china.

I think she was elegant and had a lot of class. While not truly "beautiful", I'd call her looks "arresting" in that she got your attention.
I certainly agree that Laura Bush has a lot of class, too. She would be #1 on my personal list of First Ladies that I admire. She had to put up with a lot with all the hatred that was heaped upon George. That can't be an easy row to hoe.
