I would offer that you, as an "independent", have never voted for a republican before. Of course, most would suggest that makes you a liberal. However, you can call yourself whatever you want.
Again, YOU AND THE OTHER OBAMA VOTERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SITUATION IN WHICH WE FIND THE NATION. Without the Obama voters, who put a COMMUNITY ORGANIZER WITH NO EXECUTIVE EXPERIENCE in the White House, the nation would not be in the perilous situation in which we find ourselves today. The unemployed can thank you for your reckless decision in putting this man into the White House.
Let us review what YOU are partly responsible for-
1. 9.1% unemployment
2. Doubling the national debt
3. $1.6 trillion dollar deficits
4. Obamacare- another entitlement when we are broke
5. Preventing US domestic energy exploration
6. Restriction and closing of US refineries
7. Prevention of building and establishing non-union factories, thus shipping jobs overseas
8. Suing a soveriegn US state over enforcing US immigration laws
9. The dollar in the tank
10. Manufacturing bleeding overseas due to trade policy, regulation, and union support
Any rational person would have expected nothing else of a community organizer who had one year experience in the US senate (with the farthest left voting record in the senate). It was pretty obvious what was going to happen and that the man was over his head.
Think before you vote next time. Those voting cards have more options that the "straight ticket" option.
It is important, but it is one of many important things to weigh. While I don't approve of Obama's actions in Libya, I have to weight they against other issues and priorities, and against whether I think Republicans would do a better job.
So what issues are you weighing? The economy, housing, regulation? You really think Obama's doing a better job than anyone else would?

You see, I think a candidate like that might just win if enough people perceive Obama as a weak leader. With the economy in the gutter and Obama's weak leadership, I don't know how he'll get re-elected, which scares the hell out of me because I shudder whenever I look at the GOP field and picture one of them as president. Ugh.

Nobody want's to abolish SS and Medicare. They want to fix it. The fact is, is nothing is done, it will become abolished on its own. But libs just can't wrap their heads around that fact.

A few facts please. From where I stand, most of Obama's actions have been like Bush's. If Obama was a Marxist, he would have nationalized the banks, not bailed out the symbol of capitalism. If Obama was a Marxist, CEOs wouldn't be taking home hundreds of millions in bonuses and billionaires wouldn't be only paying 16% on their income.
I have to laugh at people who call Obama a Marxist. The Affordable Care Act requires people to get private insurance policies sold by privately owned insurance companies -- OH HOW SOCIALIST!!! If Obama was a Marxist, the health mandate would have been a government owned program. It isn't.
Calling Obama a 'Marxist' is proof that you have no clue.
Give some examples of Obama's Marxism.
The problem is that people who make that claim are so extreme to the right that anyone to the left of Attila the Hun look like a Socialists.
