You know they say the US is an unoccupiable country because everyone here owns guns. Any force here would be met with a rifle totin' army of 300,000,000 people.
Plus all of the gangs here, plus the NRA would be marching straight to war but not without stopping in San Francisco first to yell a resounding "I told you so!!"
When I was Corps G-3 Training for the XVIII Airborne Corps in the 1980s, it was my job to bring foreign troops to this country, and send some of ours overseas for training purposes.
We have foreign troops on the ground here essentially 24x7x365.

We trained at RedStone Arsenal also, it was interesting since we had service members from Arab countries and Israel.

There are continuously foreign troops here. I remember seeing a story on CBS this morning about a German Fighter Squadrons based in different bases in the US.
I am on Fort Huachuca every day and there are plenty of foriegn troops there, perhaps someone will tell the King of Hearts Beck
