There is "hope" for this country after all!
__________________________________________________

Asked point blank if he thinks the president has been doing a good job running the country, Damon simply replied, "No."

"I no longer hope for audacity"

"...the idea that we're testing kids and we're tying teachers salaries to how kids are performing on tests, that kind of mechanized thinking has nothing to do with higher order. We're training them, not teaching them."

Matt Damon

"We're going through the same thing as Vietnam right now"

"We can't please the world, and all we do is make enemies. We go in with the best possible intentions, but we make enemies."

Hugh Hefner

Your probably right. I wish hollywood would finally open their eyes. Because a lot of other people would follow them.

It is surprising how many people follow the lead of their hollywood stars in their politiical leanings.
So yes, they vote democrat.

We'll know the elite have come to their senses when they start making proclamations that they are fleeing the country if Obama wins a second term.

But more the case, I suspect the disgruntled ones were quoted shortly after their accountant did their 2010 taxes.

I'm not sure that thinking Obama is too conservative qualifies as a feather in your cap. It, actually, undermines every other argument you all make against him. Choose wisely in the future, lest you expose your hypocrisy.

I agree with Damon, though. I expect the Republicans to try and quantify students with standardized testing as if one size fits all, but I can't fathom why the Democrats go along with it. Appalling.

My taxes went down thanks to Obama's policies. I have more money to help boost the economy. So, I guess that would make you.... wrong.

I'll say the say thing I say whenever I hear *any* famous person spouting off - what makes them any more qualified as political analysts than me, or my barber, or my bartender, or....

I'm guessing you're not in the same tax bracket as them.

Besides...you'll see your take home pay drop when your insurance premiums jump up thanks to obamacare.
