Don't even try to explain. It's not worth the headache.

What, not unless it's cold one day or warm one day. Those events are proof! What more could those on either side of the issue, want? It's as if you're expect long term empirical evidence or something?

Please don't upset the repugs with any facts , especially scientific facts...science scares them...so they shun it....as they do facts...if they had to learn how warming affects weather conditions they would just get a terrible headache.

They ALL think that if it snows there is no such thing as global warming....they were frightened when they first saw fire, too

Whether those are caused by warmer temps is up for debate. I don't know that answer and I haven't heard any scientists make a statement about it. But it's certainly not a definitive no.

btw - if you mention Al Gore in your commentary on this science, it simply reveals to those educated on the subject that you have no idea what you're talking about and probably hadn't heard of this concept until that politician created a presentation. So, you might want to up your game.
I knew he didn't know what he was talking about, all along. Thanks for the validation !!!!!!!!!!!

Please give to your local chapter of the church of AGW today.
Don't even try. The disciples need a serious deprogramming, one that involves sleep deprivation, phone books and a dark closet.

We tell them this over and over and over in thread after thread after thread on this subject. Either:

1.) They don't care about facts.
2.) They're too stupid to understand the difference between weather and climate.
3.) They simply love to troll the forum for reactions.
4.) All of the above.

I think it's #4, with a heavy emphasis on #2.

Certainly whether you believe that 1) global warming is man made, 2) global warming is not man made, or 3) there is no global waring, - it makes sense to reduce pumping crud into the air.

What if you believe that global climate change resulting in warmer temperatures on average over the span of years, is part of the natural progression of earth, but that humankind is making it much, much worse in a much faster time-frame, possibly in ways that are irreversible? Can we still pollute then?
