I find it ironic that "conservatives" like hawkeye rail on about China having few regulations. That's the kind of progressive talk I'd see from a RINO site like freerepublic.

I guess I don't understand.

The Chinese do not have nearly the regulations and impedences for domesitc buisness like the US. Two huge factors are the EPA and the trial lawyer's association.

China only owns about 8% of the US debt, and if you look at the numbers on your report, China's percentage has fallen for the last two years.

Think China might know what a bad risk the USA is now and is reducing it's exposure?

What happens if China and other nations stop buying the USA's debt?

It cascades, of course. The Fed buys more and usurps more power and influence over the economy in return?

China own us. If you need proof, just look at everything you bought or going to buy, and look at where it was made? I bet 9 out of 10 items have the label "made in china" on it. Just imagine this, China stop their exports, what going to happen to us? Price of everything goes up, 10x, 50x or 100x, no one know. Sure, the Chinese will loss some exports, but our country will go into chaos.

Ah, I see. I back off my assertion. You were merely making an objective analysis, not blaming the Chinese for laxer regulations and no trial lawyers.

The preferred avenue is FEW trial lawyers, but I'd grudgingly rather have none than the amount we have here.

I find the way China does things funny....

Gates is over there discussing matters,China decides to flight test a stealth aircraft, right after our experts stated China was years away from a test flight...

I wonder what will happen if China chooses to delay shipments of all it's products for a week to the USA.....
