I think Republicans will get the Senate and House in 2012 and more than likely the Presidency unless conservatives and Republicans allow the media to choose their candidate again.

You are talking about conservatives versus the Washington Republicans.
I do agree with you that you do have conservatives watching all the Republicans and if they don't do what they should, they are going to have well funded challenges in their next primaries.
Conservatives want small non-costly government.
They want only temporary safety net social programs except for major disabilities.
They want less laws restraining people from doing business and being more free (within reason).
They want economic sanity.
They want to fire lots of government union employees and nullify a lot of they lottery sized retirements they set up for themselves.
Obama wants everything through the government and he wants to use class warfare and anything else to divide and conquer.

Well, I guess the Fox channel and it's Right Wing Followers are walking proud today. After years of spinning hate and lies, some deranged gun-toting military-wannabe, with his tea party videos has finally started knocking off Congress people on Sarah Palin's hit list. Although it's obvious the man is deranged, it's interesting how these shooters always turn out to be from the Far Right. Interesting that we never see any 'live-and-let-live,' pro gun-control, 'health care for everyone' types running around and gunning people down. While we have been looking outside the country for terrorists, it looks like the Tea Party is growing them here in the US.

We are a Democratic Republic that is Capitalist. We are not Socialist or Communist.
I'm sorry if that was confusing for you because I put the word Capitalist first in the last post.
There is nothing in the Constitution that says we are a capitalist country. In fact, we have a mixed economy - just like every other country in the modern world. We have a mixture of capitalism and socialism. Medicare and Social Security are socialist programs.
Put together a case. Lay it out for me (FACTS). Show me what part "we" played.
Facts? Like the FACT that the same group of zealots on City Data spend 24/7 making outrageous claims about Obama being a Muslim, terrorist, Socialist, Communist etc? Or the endless claims about Democrats wanting to dismantle the COTUS? How much they hate America? Posts predicting a civil war to "take back" this country? A constant bombardment of threads here with an undercurrent of using guns to solve our problems against the evil "Socialists?"
Need I say more? Have you read one effin thread on this forum ever? Are you really asking me to provide "facts" for you? Perhaps you could look for the 10000th "Obama is a muslim" thread for further reading?
These same people (it's probably about 20 core members, with a revolving door of a dozen or so) who post this crap here ARE part of the problem. They flame the rhetoric with lies, misinformation, fear and hate. People read this crap and then repost, or repeat elsewhere. The internet has become an integral part of the national dialogue and therefore blood is on these user's hands, just as much as all the others online who post this same inane vitriol.
