Let's not forget that Michelle Bachmann accepts political support from a "Christian" rock group whose members call for gay people to be killed. Let's not forget that not a single Republican "leader" tells her that isn't acceptable.
Watching this now on Fox News. The only person to blame for this is the one who pulled the trigger.
Very sad situation for all.
And that's exactly right - but even that - if it was some voices in his head that told him it was time to start killing, even he had no real control.
It's got to do with psychosis and severe mental illness. And that problem isn't so easily addressed. And some of these emotionally ill people will read a passage out of the Bible and cut off the head of their own child but usually they are also on some kind of drug if they do that.
And you can't always predict if someone is going to go from talking to himself and acting a bit off to a full blown violent episode. What makes one paranoid schizophrenic stay huddled in a corner somewhere afraid of the voices in his head but unwilling to kill even a fly but another get out and commit such an act?
And with all kinds of psychotropic drugs out there - legal and illegal, and the high joblessness and economic decline, I suspect things will only get worse.
A lot of people could be hovering near the edge and there is no telling what will push them over and when.

Aside from an opportunity for you to cast stones at those with whom you disagree politically how is this comment at all relevant to the discussion at hand?
Why is it reaching ? The DEAD FEDERAL JUDGE should be the headline .
I suspect that because the media didn't know that the judge was one of the victims until the President's address, the Glifford narrative was pretty much locked in. I might add that in the grand scheme of things a member of Congress out ranks a federal district judge.
He really hated the government. Wonder how many tea parties he attended?
Why would he have done that when he was a leftist?
