on top of that, libertarians all get tarred with that right wing nutjob brush! our struggle as libertarians is to make convincing argument that smaller govt is better for everyone. it's pretty difficult to do that when from within our ranks, morons, apart from killing politicians and children, are killing our credibility!

Odds are the guy was an outright NUT CASE.
But as of yet, that is NOT a 100% given, or at least the authorities aren't saying so?
Neither, it is irrelevant to the event that led to his death. He was not the target, he was not part of the event. He merely stopped by on his way home from Mass.
I do hope that if any thing comes out of this tragedy is that all sides get to together to make this country strong instead of bickering over who is right or wrong as we all go down the toilet.
I am praying for all people involved and let us not forget the bystanders that were there to see the horrible site.

German historians are leftist? Must have missed something. Nazis are considered far right in Germany, not by leftist but by definition.
The book, that btw is called Mein Kampf and not Mein Kempf (that word does not exist), also includes Hitler's disdain for marxism so the claim this is a leftist book is ridiculous.

The Nazi Party's goals are more closely aligned with leftist ideology.
Just to be clear, his "high school friend" hasn't been interviewed by police yet, and any major news outlets.
Her statements are coming from twitter. But they and his writings are all we've seen on his personal views yet. We'll have a better picture by the end of the week.
His personal writings range from hating large government (a conservative Republican stance) to feeling that the rich are holding down the poor (a liberal Democratic stance).
At this point, we really just don't know.
A whole lot more credible at this point than all you people claiming he belonged to the Republican party or Tea Party movement - at least she actually knew him. You guys are just making up the connections with conservatives parties.
