I'm not sick of 'em, but I am tired of them.

I don’t agree with that. I have said this before, but that he did not spare the life of Karla Faye Tucker, obviously not to hurt his chances at the presidency, revealed him for what he is.
A man of no compassion for anyone but for himself.

Curious: Were you as candidly opposed to Clinton when he refused to pardon Ricky Ray Rector?

Actually, when he didn't pardon Karla Faye Tucker, i gained a newfound respect for him. I'm not for the death penalty, don't get me wrong, but she was a fairly attractive WHITE woman who found God...and i fully expected her to be able to pull his heart strings based on that. If she wasn't white, we would've never heard about her...in my opinion of course.

Of course, i could be wrong about that, but i doubt it.

Truthfully, i have less respect for Bush on the Scooter Libby thing far more so than the Karla Faye Tucker matter. For him not to pardon Libby just smacks of disloyalty...and i'm someone who enjoyed seeing Libby squirm. But i hate disloyalty far more than i hate Libby.

I can follow you on this, but let's say that I believe in redemption and foremost I am also against death penalty. I understand what you say about her being white and had found God but there was something in that women that impressed me. It is difficult and sometimes useless to overcome one's own feelings.
Am I wrong if I recall that even the Pope interfered in her favor.

I must also confess, and this was basic instinct, I judged Bush at first sight as someone you absolutely can't trust.

You will NOT see me stop bashing Bush anytime soon!

9/11 was on his watch.
Katrina was on his watch
Afghanistan was on his watch.
Iraq was on his watch.

Nuff said.............................................. ...........

It seems to me that most of the rhetoric simply repeats the hateful press spewed by the liberal media.

Whether you like GW's politics or not, the office of President deserves our respect and support -- Further, GW has not been President for over two years ... and yet, the 'Bush-haters' still blame him for everything and anything. Wake up and grow-up! -- The President doesn't pass laws -- GW didn't simply decide to go into Iraq -- He wasn't the only one (including the Dems, who believed intelligence reports about WMD's).

But, even so, when does responsibility for anything (economy, remaining in Iraq/Iran, unemployment, etc. etc) actually pass to the current Administration? -- I'm not saying the current or the past Administration is responsible for the problems, but all the Bush finger-pointing lacks knowledge, logic --- and any apparent interest in actually solving the problems!

'Finger Pointing' and the 'blame game' doesn't move us one-inch closer to solutions. As Americans, we need to unite and move forward together to solve our mutual problems! If Washington can't get over its own partisan politics, then the American people need to vote them out of office... blue and red alike!
That was beautiful. Let me wipe this tear from my eye. Oh...and would you say give the same respect to Obama? Let me guess.

That is part of the problem -- too many folks have become 'sound byte' junkies that mindlessly repeat whatever sounds popular at the moment, with little or no regard for character assasination of decent, honorable people or anything that can't be contained in a 10-second text-message or twitter.
You just described Obama bashers. Bush bashers have valid reasons, a whole legion of facts, and a majority of the world's citizens on their side. It's true, none of us has all the facts, we can't possibly know everything that happens behind the scenes. But that doesn't and shouldn't stop people from placing blame where it is due. He earns no respect or honor from me.

As far as the economy, I hold Bush accountable NOT for what he did, but for what he did and DIDN'T do. I hold Obama up to the same standard. Both were 'owned' by the bankers so what else did we expect (though I had my hopes it would be different)? On the other issues we all share, Bush's actions and opinions were disastrous in innumerable ways. If a drunk hit you and put you in a wheelchair for the rest of your life, do you think you'd ever get past bashing them? The damage of the Bush administration will be difficult to undo. We may never walk again...

The only way you can dispense with Bush bashers is to bring the guy up to trial for war crimes, crimes against humanity and other truly impeachable offenses. Trouble is, he'll be defendant #341563 what with so many others (most of whom we don't know) who've committed even worse crimes.

"over a million Iraqis who lost their lives due to the invasion, over 4 million refugees, 4500 American soldiers lost, 1100 amputees, tens of thousands injured, sick and tens of thousands more GIs coming back with trauma to lost jobs, broken families and permanent damage to their health."
