We will see if the Repubs actually want to work with the Dems. What's your guess? I would be surprised if they do, no political advantage, which is the only important thing.

I fully expect the political divide in the US to get worse, we may well be beyond the point of no return.

Well, we elected some more obstructionists. We will suffer their inaction influence and, hopefully, throw them out in 2012. Then get back on track.

It's a good idea, with every military leader championing it.

Unfortunately Sarah Palin and the chicken hawks hate it, over the praises of people who have actually served and lead the military.

Jon Kyle, republican senator from Arizona is leading the opposition to it. Basicly, it would be too big a victory for Obama for the repubs to swallow. Go figure.

No!! we elected people we believe will stand strong on principles and remember what their jobs are which is to listen to the American people.

We elected a group that wont give in to the bigger gov that the left wants and if you wish to see that as obstructionist to your agenda and if that is your agenda bigger gov. Then I am proud you call them Obstructionist

The Repubs have done nothing that was not for political purposes, for the last 2 yrs. I see nothing in the future that will change that, other than not sending them to Congress. I don't expect much from the lame duck session or the lame 2 year Congress. We will, hopefully, correct that in 2012.

The Republicans want to keep America's WMDs hidden.

Probably move them to Canada and Mexico during inspections.
