I'd be much happier if we weren't creating a very obese poverty class whose diabetes and heart problems will also have to be paid by me. That's the only satisfaction I get when I see the food stamp recipients waddling through the store with their soft drinks and cookies, high fat meats, lobster, ice cream, candy bars, and so on - while my meager cart contains a few but healthy choices because I pay my own way for what I need and want - those who work for a living must scrimp and save and are limited to real food so will outlive the overly pampered so-called poor.
