This is ultra liberal leadership at it's worst. Maybe they can train Trannies to soften their voices or how to hide a 5 o'clock shadow? If you look like Chaz Bono people are still going to wonder what excactly you are. Who in their right mind would elect Gavin Newsom to ANY job?

What a ridiculously stupid idea. Did they suddenly come into money or what?
Cities always seem to find money when they want it.
By Monday they'll be crying on the news how they are broke and will have to cut fire, police and teachers though.

Why shouldn't these folks have job training programs? Wouldn't that benefit the city if they were gainfully employed and not living on the dole?
Naturally, I'm not saying that job training shouldn't be available to Vets.... but should they be the only ones that have job training available to them? What about those that aren't, as you say... 'trannies', but haven't served? Should there not be job training for them?
Wasn't Frisco the City that spent more money on the Gay Parade then it did on the Veteran's Day Parade? That would really be an insult to our Military men and Women.

I don't know... have a link?
Not saying that it isn't true, just don't know.

Who would you restrict job training to?
What are you talking about there are Jobs Training programs open up to the general population are you trying to say the Transgender community needs a special one all of it's own. And what specifically is the issue why they would need one tailored to them in a lgbt friendly City?

An after thought... if the Veteran's Day Parade isn't the most expensive parade funded that year... think Thanksgiving or Christmas, is that an insult to the military men & women?
Lbgt parade....$84,000
Veteran's Day...$13,500 it seems they spent more on several other parades that year also which is a disgrace.
It looks like they even spent more money on Samoan Flag Day $15,000
Seems like they have their priorities out of whack.
