It irritates me to think that the City Government officially has Central Catholic and WQED in Squirrel Hill, Palermo's Shoe Service and the Slovene church of 57th St. in Stanton Heights and Wal-mart and St. Margarets in Lincoln Lemington.

If they were going to do it right, why did the city government bother?
Walmart, Waterworks, St Margaret's and the Water Treatment plant is considered Lincoln Lemington. There may be some truth to the "official" boundaries.

I'm just happy they put my house in the right neighborhood... The news always wants to report my street as Knoxville when it is CLEARLY Allentown... It intersects Allen avenue for petes sake.

I haven't seen this officially stated anywhere, but I have always assumed they used Census tracts for data collection and reporting purposes.
