Does anyone know what that big tent (I think that's what it is) behind the German beer place (can't spell its name lol) is for?

Does anyone else know about that walkway and what they are doing back there. I may have heard something but don't remember.

I know the Riverfront Trail is supposed to be rerouted between the restaurant and the river and a small park will be set up there. That's probably the walkway you're referring too. No idea about the tent.

Is it on the lot of the Hofbrauhaus? They have picnic table seating out there, so I wonder if the tent is for shade/rain protection.

Actually it's between Hofbrauhaus and the river along the walkway that's blocked off down there.

We were at Hofbrauhaus last week. From the picnic table area we saw the tent structure you mentioned. From this link South Shore Riverfront Park, it appears to be the stage for the Riverfront Park that Mugatu referred to. There are stone steps/seats adjacent to the Hofbrauhaus picnic area that look like they will help form the seating.

OK I guess that's the "amphitheater." That's cool. I guess it will somewhat resemble the one on the North Shore just with a tent (I guess)

The South Side is just awesome. That new section is really a cool contrast to the old. Both have a lot to offer and a different feel.
