I have "Sony CyberShot DSC-N2", I bought it around 16 months back so it warranty is over.
It was working good till sometime back, but now my camera does not recognize memory chip and stores pics/ video in camera memory which is very limited.
I am not sure what went wrong, but someone suggested that perhaps its "software/ operating system/ firmware" got corrupt.
I have no clue how to fix the problem, or what are available option to fix the problem.
I would appreciate your suggestions.
If you only have one memory chip how sure are you that the memory chip is good? You might want to try another chip. Also can you reset your camera back to “factory options & settings”? Either of these things could indicate your problem is not just the basic camera failure and save you some money repairing or replacing.
Interesting,,,,, I didn’t know that and put two new sticks in my Sony. Did the camera automatically format the memory stick? I’m not having trouble with them.
My sony camera memory card not detecting. But when i insert into camera its coming format card but none of options are working its only showing, plz help me
