Your butterfly pics are just AWESOME, Steve-O! Were any of them taken at the butterfly exhibit at Brookfield Zoo, by chance? Because I'm living out of state now, I haven't been there, but I know in past years they had a pretty nice exhibit you could walk through.

Yes, you got it! Brookfield Zoo's buttefly exhibit is where I took the pics last weekend. Its a lot of fun in there and makes for some nice photo ops if you dont spook the little guys.
thanks for your help....now i have an idea what the heck it is. when it flew in my garage it scared the crap out of me cause of it's size. all i could think of were the asain hornets i had seen on national geografic channel..
