How many here actually use macro lenses ?

I use a Nikon 60mm macro , a Nikon 105mm macro and I will be buying the new Nikon 50mm z lens when it is shipping in July . I use a Nikon z6 camera so a lenses are better optimized and don’t require the additional adapter I use now

I also use the Nikon r1c1 micro flash system when I need to control harsh lighting

The Canon Rebel we have at work has a 35mm macro. The only problem is to get an insect or bug you have to get really close.

With my personal camera, a Sony A6400, I use extension tubes or closeup diopters.

I find it amazing I have not gotten bit or stung since I like the 60mm macro and I am darn close. My wife likes the 105mm since she is uncomfortable getting so close to things that sting.

We find the 60mm works well for the tanks at the aquarium which is why we will get the 50mm z macro lens as soon as it ships

These are some GREAT pics. You guys are inspiring me to get back into macro. Sold my EF 180L Macro a while back but kept my MP-E65. Think I may have to pick up a 100L macro this Amazon Prime weekend.

My main problem with getting too close is the subject doesn't stick around.
