Wow thanks! I'm flattered! LOL

I have a true passion for photography but have never really had the means to get a decent camera. That's all going to change in a few weeks. Unfortunately I have no clue where to start looking for a decent, relatively cheap (under $600) DSLR. I don't know much about them.

I'm going on a ride tomorrow so I'll try and get more wildflower shots before the cooler temps make them die out.

Thanks again for the compliments!

I dream of some day being able to afford both the money for a good DSLR and the time/energy to learn how to use it correctly. Probably unlikely to ever happen, so I'll keep banging away with the Sony Cybershot and hope for a few lucky decent ones.
Thanks! I play with the manual settings, take lots of photos, and wait for sunny days .

We never know, MidwesternBookWorm (hey fellow bookworm). We might just get that extra money, time, and energy. Aside from money for good equipment, I also dream of traveling and exploring new places. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I have a Canon SD630. Well, used to. Two days ago, husband and I went hiking and he sat on a rock with the camera in his back pocket. We can still take photos with it but the screen is dead. Before that, my brother gave me his Canon G9 when he upgraded his camera, and after a year of use it just died on me, no warning, just died. I can't wait to have a camera again! It will be a few months.
