I had to brag. I recently got this little cheapo lens, which is actually a darn excellent piece of glass. I can't believe i didn't get it earlier!!

Nikkor 50 f/1.8

I was debating between 85mm and 50mm, for the price, 50 is an excellent preformer. It's fantastic for portraits, mainly head-shots. I think everyone should have one in their bag!! I'm looking to get another one, for full body shots, but this will do for now.

Here are some shots of my little niece

What a cutie! Thanks for sharing! I still have the lense that came with - it's on my birthday list, though!

Which macro is that? I'm actually selling mine, not into macro. It was fun for a while though.

I have an olympus E-500. I want to get the 35mm for nature and product shots.
