Laura C, the tree squirrel shot is fantastic, and the heart-shaped hole in the tree he's in adds a little something special (IMO). This was perfect for this month's theme!

I would have never seen it. Normally, I'm pretty unobservant but I watched him go into the hole in the tree and then waited for him to come out. A person walking their dog came by on the path and the dog barked. That's when he peeked his head from the hole. He never did come out of the tree while I was there.

Hi, everyone! I was recommended to this forum by a friend. I really enjoy looking at all yall's photos and entered one myself for this month. I didn't know if that was okay, it being my first post and all, so someone just please tell me if I missed anything. Thanks!

1) What is the cut off date for entering the contest?

2) Must our photos be taken in the month of January?

meson - it's a contest for the month of January. Surely the photos should be taken in January to qualify?
