Can you post a link to that?

Really wish the time frame was greater as far as the lag between when you made the photo and when it can be posted. Just came back with hundreds of shots to go through from two weeks ago. Now since they will be over a month old I can't enter a one. Probably been asked and answered someplace in the last 230 posts I guess,

I do not recall it coming up in the past. Extend the time frame for how old an entry picture can be?

It really doesn't matter to me. I don't know where the 30 days came up. How about 60 days, or even 90 days?

What does everyone think?

I'll just follow along and see what happens. I know one of the requirements is 30 days of age to post. I may be able to find something for the June contest that has not expired.

I believe the 30 day rule applied to the discontinued theme contest.

CONTEST RULES:

1. Only users who have been registered on City-Data over 30 days and who have at least one valid post may enter the contest or vote on the contest.

2. One photograph per contest.

3. You must have been the person who took the photograph which is entered.

4. All photographs must have been taken within 30 days of the date you submitted them.

5. You may not vote for yourself.
That 30 day rule goes back before 2012...

I have no problems with changing it. I don't know how everyone else feels.

I say leave it. The idea is to get people to take new photographs.

My feeling is that if the contest is for your best of the month, then the photo should be taken within the month of that particular contest. I think 30 days is fair. As another poster mentioned, we should be taking new pictures.

No contest for February, not one started for March. Is this the end of the photo contests?
