I am looking for a home around 100k that does not have a HOA.. or at the very least a low fee HOA. I don't need fancy water park communities or any of that crap. I just really hate HOAs raising the fee every year.
At my current home the HOA fee goes up every year with no end in sight.

So, does anyone know of areas with no hoa for the price range I am looking for?

I know of a few subdivisions in Maricopa with a really low HOA fee, some even quarterly. Maricopa Meadows comes to mind, and if I recall, it was about $180 every quarter. That's reasonable to me...althrough I don't care for that particular subdivision. I much prefer El Dorado and Cobblestone, but I think they have an HOA fee of around $80/mo.

all the newer homes in maricopa have HOA's. there are homes outside the developments, but most of them are pretty far out.

I don't mind $50 a month or quarterly.. but I pay $200 a month now and I just think it's too much.

Older homes that are not in the new subdivisions are where you may want to look.
