I closed on a condo in November 1999, and stayed in Arizona for 6 more years (BHC and Rio Rico). I've just had a contract ratified on a condo in the same neighborhood; 19th Ave and Northern. What would you like to tall me? (besides, bienvenidos!). Is anything going to really shock me?

Did you enjoy the low-income area when you lived there? If it was fine when you lived there before, you should be fine now, not much has changed in the area.

Looks like it is higher than 85015, and 85014; but a little lower than 85016. All four parts have some good areas and some not so good areas. I liked the central location, and didn't really consider living out in the cookie cutter suburbs.

The immediate neighborhood ranges from low to high-income, depending on which direction you're looking. More specificity would help.

West of 19th Ave., North of Northern, East of I-17. Rent=zero, mortgage payment=zero. About the time I sold in '99, Filberto's owners had been jailed for employment tax evasion, and it was called Burrito Brothers. Is that still there on Dunlap? I've heard the Southwest Supermarket on 19th and Northern is long gone; what is that now?

Southwest Supermarkets are gone everywhere. The grocery on that corner is Albertson's, northeast corner.

Is the Fry's still there on the Southeast corner of 19th and Dunlap? BTW, the SW was on the NW corner of 19th and Northern. That was a very good Albertsons; I look forward to shopping there, again. Thanks, 53.

Yes, it's still there. BTW, you can see any major intersection in Phoenix by typing it into Google, like below, and then click "search nearby" and type in the store name.
