I know most Arizonians are not the smartest crayons in the box, but this is flat out ridiculous. 77% of high school children failed a basic civics test. No wonder why they say Arizona has the worst school system in the nation.

The "smartest" crayons in the box. WTF? I think you've been smoking some burnt umber.

Regardless, I believe that you are incorrectly referring to a report about on students in Oklahoma. It was all over the news last week. Oklahoma, not Arizona.

http://www.outsidethebeltway.com/arc...1st_president/

I just conducted my own query for comparison. 100% of the Arizona high school students I questioned knew who was the first president of the United States!

So why is this Thread in the Phx Forum to begin with if it doesn't concern Phoenix or even Arizona????? If the Study focussed on Oklahoma students, shouldn't this be moved to the Oklahoma Forum - or better yet, the Education or Politics sections?

The things some people choose for topics in a city sub-forum is mind-blowing sometimes. Jesus christ!!!!!!!

Very interesting - thanks for the link.

And now the thread is closed as it started off on a false premise and has gone nowhere.
