I’m relocating to Phoenix in a few weeks but I visiting the city for the first time tomorrow. I’ve been checking online for a hotel room but all rooms are listed at $120.00 plus per night. I’m sure that decent and reasonable priced hotels/Inn exists in or near Phoenix. Could someone make a few recommends?

You’re coming tomorrow and don’t have anywhere to stay? It’s high season, you’re going to have a tough time finding anything for less than that. I’m surprised you’ve found anything so cheap. Obviously look further out but $120/nt seems dirt cheap and may be somewhere not too nice.

Yeah. This is the busy season. Spring Training, spring break, etc.

We had visitors from an other office in midweek a couple weeks ago and they were having trouble finding anything under $200 and all rooms near the office were booked

What part of the city you looking to be in?

@Finger Lake - I have no preference. I just want to find somewhere that is safe and clean. BTW, I am also looking for an apartment that is moderately priced and in a desirable location. Any ideas on that too?

Need more info. Job location? do you prefer urban or suburban? Price point? Phoenix metro is gigantic.

Motel prices won't drop until May. Your apartment question is too broad at this point. You are going to want to be living close, or relatively close, to where you work.

Yup, it's the spring training effect. Rental cars and flights will be high also.

Weekend makes it extra tough. Looking through major booking sites the southwest valley rooms are all pretty expensive

Weekend hurts as well.

Hotwire has some around $100. I've had good luck, really pay attention to the recommended percentage as a guide
