There's a complex in Fountain Hills that I believe offers 3 month leases at somewhere near your price range. The name is Four Peaks and they have have a website with good pics & detailed info. Stayed there last year & had a 6 month lease on an unfurnished 2 bedroom w/garage. I paid just about $1000/month. They would be able to give you availability if you phone them. Best of luck!

I would return to Pa. next April, and tie up loose ends, and sell my home here. Then make the move out to AZ. fulltime. I am also in a position thank God! That I could keep my home back here. And purchase a winter home or condo in AZ. if I choose to? But in the meantime, I`m primarily looking for a winter accommodations in my price range for next winter. And and all advice, is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
Hi Brian, have you considered doing a short term house share? I have a quiet 4 bedroom house to share in Gilbert/Phoenix and am currently looking for a short term rental to test the waters... it may suit both parties, am flexible on dates for availability. I'm easy to get along with and respect privacy, I have a pool, am centrally located and close to Freeways. Let me know if you would like further information. I have 3 spare bedrooms to choose from and plenty of storage/garage space.

I will be moving from my Casita apartment at the Bellagio in Scottsdale and it will be available for rent December 1st. The rent starts at $920 for a two bedroom, two bath with a fireplace, patio, walk in closets and a separate room for washer and dryer(provided). Pets are allowed! This is an awesome apartment complex. The gated grounds are lovely, there's a 24 hour heated pool, jacuzzi and workout room. The maintenance staff and management are very nice. It's a great place to live but I bought a house so I have to break my lease. If you're interested get back to me or contact the Bellagio! : )

there are many seasonal rentals for $1500 a month for the snowbirds , you need to check out
VRBO.com (vacation rentals by owner ) also look on Craigslist housing: sublets/temporary.
Lots of snowbirds in Mesa and in Apache Junction good area for 3 -5 months , no problem.
