Hello All,

I'm a single parent and I'm looking for a home to rent a 3 bdrm in Tempe or a 4 Bdrm in Scottsdale.

I would like to have a pool which must be fenced in and a 2 car garage if at all possible.

I will also need all appliances except for Washer & Dryer I already have a set that I recently purchased.

Please note that I have Section 8 and the amount of rent i'm allowed is 1300, but i'm willing to negotiate and pay the extra if the fenced pool and 2 car garage are included.

I would also like to note that i'm currently in Chicago, and looking to move in on May 1st. I've had somewhat of a difficult time locating anything that may be ready by then so any assistance would be greatly appreciated. My son will be attending ASU this fall and I would like to be there to support him if need be.
Thanks in Advance
Gloria

Scottsdale is expensive except maybe the southside.

Tempe might be the best location to be close to ASU but most everything around the university is lofts, apartments, condominiums, and bungalows.

Try searching for some homes in the southern side of Tempe, I think there would be more in your size and price specifications.

There are some older homes in the north and more central/west parts of Tempe that would work, as well as Scottsdale from Thomas Rd south. They aren't all particularly large, but there should be something that meets your primary specifications.

You are going to have a difficult if not impossible job, to find a landlord or management service that is going to play around with what you want and do it on a section 8 low income tax payer subsidized rental program.
