OK I have I more question, someone just mentioned valley-fever to me. Does anyone know whats going on with that?

If you have a good immune system I wouldn't worry about it. If this was the case it would just feel like a normal cold/flu. I won't say there aren't exceptions to this, but if you are general healthy with no big medical problems you should be good. I read up on this before I left Chicago. They say in this desert regions that about half of those living here have been affected by it at least sometimes in their life. The bad cases are what makes headlines. I think you should be good.

Valley fever is something to be aware of but I think it's blown out proportion.

They say being exposed to all the dust and pollution will give you valley fever, that's not always the case.

If someone is affected it's mostly in the form of a cough, allergies, or cold symptoms.

Pets seem to be affected more seriously than humans.
