We celebrated my birthday in Scottsdale, DH's bday in Chandler, had to go to Scottsdale for an arthouse film, went to the Improv in Tempe and WE LIVE OUT IN BUCKEYE!!!!!! The drive is such a pain!!!!!!! It totally sucks b'c DH's job is near Tonapah so it's not like we have a lot of choices. Sigh. I can't wait for the mall to get built. We went to that one mall in Glendale I think and that was the first time BOTH Dh and I stuck out like a sore thumb. Usually it's just one of us (he's white and I'm Asian) depending on which family we go visit. Heehee.

On a side note, the Improv is AWESOME! Tonight was our first time ever going to a comedy club and we loved it. We saw Craig Robertson and thought he was hilarious. I think he's got one more show on Sunday night so if anybody gets a chance, go see him! He's "Dwayne" on "The Office". Okay, I hope this isn't going to get flagged for advertising or something. Sorry CD.

Okay, just my rants and rave on this post. Anybody out in Buckeye? What do you guys do for fun?! I'm at a lost! Anytime I look something up, the event always takes place on the east side!

Have you been to Westgate? Not a huge night life yet but some cool bars are coming there soon. For now the Yard house and Fox Sports Grill rent bad.

Yeah, where the movie theatre and jobing.com arena's located?

It's cool but not really a whole lot "to do" there, ya know? We've been a couple of times for dinner/movie.

Yep, that's the problem with living "way out there". It's a given that any of us will be driving throughout the valley for entertainment or whatever. I've been doing this all my life. We usually have to "go to the other side of town" for something. We try not to do that as much, but it's usually something, sometime.

Like I had to drive 20 miles yesterday to my nearest Whole Foods to put some advertising on their board (it's a good one). Yeah, Scottsdale and Tempe are givens for entertainment.

This is funny, I have to drive over a hundred miles from Tucson to Glendale for entertainment. I have season tickets for the Cardinals. I really like Westgate too. And I like shopping at Cabela's.
