Does anyone know the current fate of the Coyotes? Will they be sticking around or pulling out? Much of what I have searched on-line is contradictory and less than current.

Thx.

They're here for at least one more season. I fear, however, the idiocy of Glendale's city government and lack of a quality buyer will lead to 2011/12 being the final season. Hope not, though.

As much as I would like to see NHL survive here we have to face the facts.

Hockey is not widely popular in this part of the country like it is in the northern states and Canada.

With essentials being slashed across the board like education, transportation, and library hours I can't see how money can be afforded to keep the Phoenix Coyotes, it's great to have this team but it's not a priority.

I'm fearful that trying to save this NHL franchise will be a losing battle for Glendale.
