SO, I promise I wont update this every day or anything....but...today the dewpoint at my place has varied between 49 and 53....so it IS more moist out there! Still no trigger mechanisms anywhere in sight so I think rain is still a good 2 weeks off, but the atmosphere is getting wetter.

I'm in Cottonwood, up north, and it's 104 out there right now. Humidity is only 11% but feels like more than that. Step outside and "instant" sweat! My evap cooler is working well though so I guess the humidity isn't THAT bad. I've been out running errands for a few hours and am glad to be back home now.

In a word? No. 30 percent is as good as zero, most of the time.

But, waking up this morning it sure was wierd to go from yesterday's blazing hot and clear, to a mostly cloudy tropical morning! These look like debris clouds from leftover stuff down in Mexico, but it clearly is starting to make the change!

Nice to see....now lets turn it into something!

Sorry I started I different thread, didn't see this one.

We had a brief outburst in East Valley a few minutes ago. It was still sunny, was inside and heard it pounding the windows.

Starting early this year.
