I found a short term lease at 26th and Pennsylvania Ave, is this a good area? I am just in town for 6 weeks while my daughter is receiving treatment at CHOP and I was looking for something close to the hospital in a safe area. Thanks!

I'm guessing you're renting a condo unit at 2601 Pennsylvania Avenue?

Yes that area is safe. You'll be in a quiet, upscale corner of downtown. Whenever you're not with your daughter, a walk through nearby Fairmount Park or a visit to the Philadelphia Museum of Art may help to clear your mind.
