Great project if this develops, snazzy building too.
Fabulous. The dilapidated building being replaced(hopefully) has had a sold sign on for about a year.

Stalled projects(?)

NW corner of 13th and Market.
Infill project where there's currently a closed parking garage south of the Parkway garage/7Eleven, Broad and Race.
Dranoff's hotel, at Broad and Spruce. I have forgotten what it's supposed to be called.

What's happening at Broad and Race?

SLS International is Dranoffs project at Spruce, I believe the hotel portion is no longer, just condos now. He also has another project a block away that is supposed to get underway I believe.

I will have to make a list of all major/ proposed projects in and around CC so people can fill in the status if they know.

Frontier Airlines adds five new flights from Philly

Low-cost carrier Sun Country Airlines to start nonstop flights from Philadelphia

More flights for PHL. I hope this trend continues, I also hope PHL can steal more American flights from JFK. I also wish United wouldn't ignore PHL, considering both New York and DC are United hubs, but not PHL.

The previously announced , block long, project at the NW corner of Broad and Spring Garden which is currently a Parkway parking lot. That one was announced at least a year ago and nothing at all is going on there except...parking.

Meanwhile the new retail construction going on directly across Spring Garden St is speeding along nicely. Might be done by the Summer.

Sigh, again. Not my point, but I’m moving on.

How one small condo building could harm the Parkway, Rodin Museum, and Philly

I know its Inga... Lets focus on the project. I think this could be a fantastic infill project if done correctly. I am more concerned about the potential impact on the Rodin than the Rail Park.

Agreed. And, and any expansion of the Rail Park is years and years away.

Few really go into the Rodin now and construction of that condo would obviously impact it. But that said, it would be a terrific addition to the area which is already fairly busy.

One of the reasons I don't like some, not all, of what she writes is that lately it seems to be back-handed Negadelphianism.
Of course there is an audience for those beliefs.
