My boyfriend and I have a little debate going on. He's strictly pro-cat. I'm pro-dog ( I like cats and most other animals too, but since I have a dog at the moment I have to take the dog's side!) lol
He says Kittums Trumps Doggums.
I say Doggums Trumps Kittums.
The great debate continues, so Im curious, which do ya'll think is better?
Maybe this will help me make my BF hush.
LOL..... It's a draw!
When I got married, my husband was...still is, the ultimate cat person...Me...the dog....but then...somehow the cats seem to wheedle their way into my heart....I couldn't do without either one!

Shhh! Dont let my bf see this thread....I like cats too. But I think Dogs are more useful. Im hoping all of those people out there in CD land will read this and try to settle our debate, one way or another.
I like both but I like cats better b/c they don't bark needlessly (like my neighbor's dog does & she thinks it's cute ). Also cats have a litter box so they can use it whenever the need arises. I don't need to walk them in all kinds of weather & at all times of the day/night just so they can take care of their business. And I also don't need to clean up after their done but twice a week. And it's always in one place. Of course goldfish rule in this situation.

But..but...dogs chase away creeps and weirdos! Cats let them in!
Have had cats and dogs. I love cats and think they are beautiful but did not like to clean litter boxes or deal with the smell. Besides the cats would get out and jump the fence, ultimately were caught by some predator unfortunately. Some cats will not try to get out so there's no problem if your indoor cat stays indoors. My husband and I like both cats and dogs. Now we are down to one dog, a pekingese. Being in our 60's one pet is enough for us to care for.

My cats may let them in but end up tripping them by wrapping around their legs or walking in front of them.
