I've never been into booze, so I always enjoy a good soda. A few times a year via a company in Washington I buy cases of my favorite soda from Queensland, Australia.

Also I'm pretty much against corn syrup so I only drink cane sugar soda's mostly.

1. Dublin Dr. Pepper in glass bottles from Texas. Made from sugar instead of corn syrup. Much better taste.

2. Bundaberg Lemon Lime and Bitters

3. Bundaberg Peachee, made with peaches instead of flavoring. Unbelievable taste.

4. Phoenix Cola from New Zealand

5. Coke from NZ or Australia, still sold in glass bottles and made with sugar.

I agree with you wanneroo, that corn syrup is not good stuff, especially the high fructose corn syrup. I've eliminated it from my diet and feel much better.

Though I'm not really a soda drinker, I do love a good root beer float every now and again.

Isn't it almost impossible to avoid high fructose corn syrup these days?

You mean pop, don't you?

Either way, that stuff is bad for you!

I'm suprised Mountian Dew isn't on that list! Anyway, that's what my "other" was. I like 7UP and Sierra Mist, however Sprite has largely fallen out of favor with me. I do preferr Pepsi to Coke but enjoy both. I am also a big fan of orange soda.

Darn...I knew I forgot an obvious one. It doesn't look like there's a way to change a poll either.

Mountain Dew. Surprised it's not on the list as I know a ton of people addicted to it

Apparently there is a bottler in North Carolina that makes Mountain Dew in 12 oz glass bottles with cane sugar. The word is it is readily available in supermarkets down there. I'm going to have a look when I am down that way next week.
