There are 2 in my family, just me and my sister and there is 13 years between us. My husband is also from 2, him and his brother. We have 5 kids. His brother has 3 and my sister has 0 so far. Most of my friends came from families with 3-4 kids, some less some more, but average was 3-4.

2 in my family growing up, 4 in my own family now. I always knew I wanted a big family and would love to have more if I felt like we could handle it.

I think that 3 is the new 2 for families now-a-days. Most everyone I know doesn't stop at 2 anymore. 3 is more the norm among friends and aquaintances.

I'm sorry, don't you CLAIM to have 3 children yourself? Why do you have a problem with other people doing it?

Four of us growing up and a fifth oopsie baby much later. Mom had five brothers and sisters, dad had five brothers and sisters. I have 29 cousins... and that doesn't count my mom and dad's step siblings and their families!

I'm one of two (born first). My mom is one of five (born second) and my dad is one of five (born last). I want to have probably around four kids (at least two adopted).

I'm the youngest of 5. My husband is the youngest of 3.

My mother was one of 7, and my father was one of 13.

Currently I have two children, and if it were up to me I'd have so many the Duggars would be jealous. Physically, it can't happen, though. So we'll be lucky if we have 1 more, but we're hoping for 2 more.

2 of us. Dad was #3 of 13. Mom was #4 of 10.

Both had brothers who had 6 children. The rest are families with 1, 2 & 4 kids each. No one had 3 or 5!

Actually, to take that a step further, all of my parents' siblings who settled in the US had 1 or 2 children only.
