I'd love to hear from people who have moved with teens/preteens of various ages. We have a 12th/9th and 3rd grader. If a move were to happen, our 12th grader would finish the year. The options then would be to move the 9th and 3rd graders mid-year, or move them over the summer. How terrible is it to move a 14 year old? I've heard people say they moved their kids at older ages and they were fine and I've heard people say they moved their kids at this age and the kids couldn't wait to graduate and move away from the new location and back "home".

We've been in our current location for 11 years. They've all basically grown up here.
