Yes, you let her do it wrong and have the teacher correct it. Since she really does not accept your help, you need to stop giving it. Let her ask when she needs help rather than accept the disrespect.

Punishing for disrespect, btw, does not work as well as rewarding (thanking her) for respectful behavior.

I don't think one negates the other. I always praise the good behavior. She is an amazing girl and can be super sweet and polite. I reward her well for good behavior. Spontaneous trip to the park, ice cream shop on a weeknight, play dates. But when she is out of line, the consequences follow. That's life. Better to learn that in the safety and care of her parents than to learn about consequences too late.
