You can file a motion pro se. In family court it isn't uncommon. You can file for your ex to simply have daytime visitation based on recent events as it seems she is getting into trouble at night. This gives the impression of not wanting your child to not have a relationship with her mom but more that you want to make sure she is protected and supervised properly.

This is also not uncommon to do. Be organized and have your proper documentation what has taken place and when and also when you have spoken with her mom and what the outcome is. You should be fine. You sound like a concerned parent.

Kind of late at that point. It'd be better to prevent such behavior which is what Dad is trying to do.

Well, duh. The point is to notify mom before it happens.

Is there something you could get the daughter interested in so that she would have better things to do with her time? Horses for example, some girls if they like horses will prefer to occupy their time with riding, horse events like shows or gymkhana, 4H. It might get her in with a better crowd.

My daughter and I have a very wonderful women in our lives that is very engaged with things that go on in her life. When my daughter is not with her mother, we do things together especially things of interest to my daughter to occupy her time and it is nice. Her mother does not do things with her or take interest in anything she likes as well as she let's my daughter do what every she wants and stay with 'friends' that are not kids of great influence. I try to talk to her mother about things but get 'it is not my concern what she does with our daughter when she is with her.'

Apart from the sexual messages with a stranger (which is a big issue and I hope you can manage to get her mother, and your daughter, to understand how potentially dangerous it is) I don't see what the issue is. Whats wrong with her going to the skating rink or talking to a 17 year old boy?

The skating rink isn't the problem. Is it that hard to get that?

And a 12 yr old GIRL has no business "talking to" a 17 yr old boy.

Age group mixing was very normal when I was a child. I talked to many 17 year old boys when I was 12 and it wasn't seen as a problem.
