We don't facebook, shutterfly, picasa, dropbox, etc. identifiable pictures of our children. If you read the privacy policy of all of these services--and free email services as well--they own all the content you post or send. That's why they can change privacy settings on a whim.
I'm not sure how long this will last, but we are doing our best to keep their faces out of the easily-accessible public sphere. It's pretty tough, though.
