What do you think? I can't think of anything else to say other than it's too stupid for words. I know parenting fads come and go, but I hope this one "goes" sooner rather than later.

this thread could get really messy without a diaper

Just hope they don't go "eco activist" and propose a citywide diaper ban.

That's all Bloomberg needs to hear.

Many of them like the thought that they are rediscovering an ancient practice used in other cultures, though they tend to gloss over the fact that many of those cultures had never heard of Pampers. But mostly, they say, they like feeling more in touch with their babies’ most intimate functions.
Translation: people be weird. This shows it's ALL ABOUT the parents and filling some void in their egos.

My mother used to potty train the little ones in the family by keeping the diapers off in the house for part of the day and it worked, but outside is a bit much.

Didn't really get your joke, but those disposable diapers are horrendously screwing the environment. Would you like to calculate how many there are in landfills?

Wasn't difficult to google...

Every year, approximately 18 billion disposable diapers enter the landfills in the United States.
