First I have to tell you they got lots of new clothes, boots, girly toiletries, hair clips, wii games, board games, slightly used Kindles, physics kit, electronics circuits set, books, puzzles, etc but their favorite gift by far was a box of assorted lego people which cost $20. They played for 4 straight hours with no snack, no TV , no computer with their new legos and especially those lego people. who'd a thunk it?
Which gift did your kid say was their favorite?
For my oldest, it's a toss up between the Monster High doll and the karaoke machine. For my youngest, it's a toss up between the toy diaper bag with pretend diaper and wipes and a Minnie Mouse doll that sings when you press on her.
It is still hard to say. DD (8) got a LOT of science gifts and can't wait to rip into all of them. So far, she has played with Snap Circuits for a long time, her tablet when we were driving to one of her grandma's house, but the thing that hasn't left her side yet is her unicorn Stompees. She has an obsession with unicorns right now and has not taken them off since she has gotten them this morning. That includes all of her time at home and going to 3 different houses today. She even got to go to Santa's private house today and wore them to show him how much she liked them. **MIL lives across the street from a Santa. DD was the ONLY lucky child on the planet to get to see Santa ON Christmas day. lol
Time will tell though which are her favorites. Some of the gifts haven't made it into the house from the car yet, so her new favorite may change as she gets to play with them all.
My daughter (2) played with all her toys, but she really loved the trike, though she hasn't been able to try it outdoors because it was raining. She also loves her Daisy Duck plush, that she took to bed with her.
For a 3 year old girl, a $3 mini "etch a sketch". But instead of the knobs a full size etch a sketch has, this one came with a "pen" you can directly draw on it with.
