Your lack of argument is hurting your argument! When in a hole, stop digging!

If I could ask what is my argument?

Are you arguing that instinct is preferable to judgement?

Then yes - I disagree. Human beings are fallacious and often wrong beings. Are minds can also be our downfall. Thinking must be learned. Many a child lies dead at the good intentions of their parents.

Are you arguing that as a parent (mom or dad) that any instinct you have is okay?

Better not hire a good looking babysitter.

are you arguing that science/logic/judgement have no role?

I am preaching a hard message maybe. That you are better trusting authority and the results of data than trusting your guts/instinct. This is not something you may want to do. But damn it I still think your undisciplined in your thinking for not admitting your own weakness and knowing that those weakness need to be countered.

Once a discussion gets to the point where people argue what "is" is, the horse is dead and the buzzards are gathering.
