My daughter still eats her favorite "baby" breakfast.
Some cut up banana (large now but nearly mashed at that age) mixed with plain yogurt (now she uses greek yogurt). I would also put some small chunks of bran muffin in it.
Buttered whole-wheat toast, applesauce, oatmeal with blueberries mashed in, bananas, cream of wheat, grits, muffins (usually banana or pumpkin).
My son also loved frozen fruit; I would get a bag of mixed fruit at the grocery (usually had peaches, melon, pineapple, mango) and defrost it as needed in the fridge or microwave.
my daughter got scrambled eggs, rolled oats oatmeal with a little cinnamon, diced (small) strawberry, bananas, pancakes, toast. She didn't get her first tooth till after 1 year old and got her top two teeth first ! At two 1/2 she finally had a full mouth of teeth but it was slow going till then.
cut up grapes, any fruit she can pick up with her hands, cheerios don't need teeth, tiny pieces of buttered toast english muffins, cantaloupe, watermelon, rice, , pasta (hey her tummy doesn't have a clock)
the main thing is to be right there with her to make sure she doesn't choke on anything.

^^ I agree..There are a bunch of things she can eat...as far as quick and not very messy, would be bread products....Cheerios and cut up fruit were my daughter's favorite at this age.
**Just an idea...this is the time to not stick to the same things all the time, but to start introducing different textures, tastes, kinds of food, etc....otherwise by the time she can start choosing she will have a limited choice b/c of what she has tried or had most often and may not want to try new things!
I need some ideas for stuff that's quick, easy, and nutritious. She doesn't have any molars yet so it needs to be relatively soft.
I feed my 13 month old pancakes or oatmeal, but she can be reeeal fussy at times (like a diva!) ha
