I'm a big fan of online school, but I'm not sure it's needed here. All my daughter learned in pre-k was the alphabet and colors and numbers. It was more about learning how to behave in a classroom setting than any actual mandatory knowledge. If your son already knows his letters, numbers, colors, shapes, can use a scissors, can manage the bathroom on his own and can listen to a teacher, he's more than ready for kindergarten. If he can open packages in his lunch (like bags of chips and drink boxes), he's ahead of the game

One of my kids did pre-k and the other did not. They had absolutely no difference in their kindergarten performance, and the one who didn't do pre-k learned to read earlier.

You don't need to get a tutor so that your preschooler is better prepared for kindergarten.

Let him be little.

Does he know how to share? Does he know how to take turns? Does he know not to hit other kids? Can he hold a crayon?

Than he should be fine.

Do not tutor a preK child online or otherwise. Go out in the world and have adventures. Play games and teach him to take turns and be a good sport. Take him to the grocery store and point out the words and letters and explore the fruits and vegetables with him. Go on nature hikes and talk about what you find. Read to him and talk about the stories. When you go to McDonald's let him pay for the food and help him figure out how much change he should get. Play number games - sort buttons and beads and count them. Sing songs. Read nursery rhymes or other rhyming books.

There is a lot you can do that will help him learn what he needs to learn. Doing worksheets is not one of them.

Paying for pre-K tutoring is a waste of money. As long as you are actively involved with your child life's and teach letters, numbers, colors, etc as you do your normal day-to-day activities he should be fine. If he is in daycare right now he probably learns sharing and interacting with children his age as well.
