OK that made me laugh. Even though it's currently 106 outside, my back is killing me (we might be in for rain), and the HOA gestapo is driving slowly up and down the street.
Any chance we'll ever see the dress? I mean as much as we went through to get you in the darned thing.
How can I post it without the stalker seeing? That dang dress was worth every penny. It sparkled so that the bride and her mother thought it was too attention getting. I should have worn navy, ya know?
Mattie - when I have something I'd like to post, I create an album in my profile, which is set to "friends only" so I can control who sees what....
Which reminds me. I need to update my "friends" list to include all of you. (Thanks, Kibbie. ) I have people on my list I barely "know". Then I need to learn how to create an album. Right now I'm going to get brave and go outside to drive down to the mailbox.
I called youngest at school, and asked him if he needed to use the gas points. He and middle are headed up to see the newlyweds this weekend (guess my invite was lost in the mail). He accepted the offer, so my conscience is clear about the gas savings.
Does this Nigerian have another long lost relative who has $7,000,000 for me as well? I love it when I get these scams in a certain email box I keep for coupons and what nots. I once responded that I had millions of dollars to give them if they gave me THEIR details. Never heard back from them.
Ahh the newlyweds. Will she ever come around to the idea of you? I am a DIL who hated her MIL vice versa. Heck the woman 'tried' to poison me and crazy enough after everything we have been through together I have a phone bill that came in at over $60.00 because we have been chatting about her visit.
Hello you lot. Had a lovely afternoon of walking around with MissFR getting ice cream and going to the playground and whatnot.
You guys need to slow down on the DIY house stuff. If you all know how to do it, MrFR will be sitting around here all day twiddling his thumbs, and we don't want that now, do we?
Sorry you are feeling gloomy. DH travels most weeks too. Sometimes I barely notice he's gone, and other weeks I miss him immensely (and yet other weeks I wish he would go! ). It is tough when the kids get busier (and snarkier ). I don't know of many people who don't have to do some sort of travel, unless they own their own businesses, or work for small companies. It will be very interesting to see this group of kids and the effect it has on them.
He's a loon, don't waste the keystrokes!
Still home today with a high fever, poor bloke. I'm sure he'll be good as new tomorrow.
Hmmm, let me try that again, since my quotes in the last post went all kerflooey.
Too funny re: the bolded. It's interesting because I know very few people who have to travel for work (aside for the occasional once a year training or conference). I wonder if the amount of travel is partly a function of how much contact one has with the customer base on-site and/or how local the base is? I agree that it will be interesting to see the impact of our work schedules on this generation over the long haul. I wonder if it will make them more adaptable?
Ha - I may take your advice about the loon!
Poor DS! Sounds like he caught a doozie!
